Terms & Conditions

Organization: Coimbatore Martial Arts and Sports Trust (COMAST)

By registering with and participating in any programme, training session, event, or activity conducted by Coimbatore Martial Arts and Sports Trust (COMAST), the individual, and in the case of minors, their parent or legal guardian, agrees to abide by all Terms and Conditions established by the organisation. These Terms and Conditions apply to every student, member, participant, visitor, and affiliated individual without exception and govern all aspects of involvement with COMAST, including training, administration, conduct, payments, and the use of facilities and services.

COMAST reserves the full right to accept or reject any application for registration without providing a reason. Registration is considered complete only after full submission of required documents and successful payment of applicable fees. All payments made to COMAST are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable under any circumstances. This applies to registration fees, monthly or annual training fees, membership charges, grading or examination fees, seminar, workshop and camp fees, and all payments made for uniforms, equipment, certificates, or any related material provided by the organisation. Once payment has been made, the student is bound by COMAST’s rules and policies for the duration of their training period, regardless of attendance or participation level.

Students are required to make all fee payments on or before the specified due date. In the event of non-payment by the due date, a grace period of five days will be granted. If payment is not made within this period, a mandatory late fee of ₹100 will be added to the total outstanding amount. Continued non-payment may result in immediate suspension of training privileges and, in repeated cases, permanent removal from the active student list. COMAST is under no obligation to allow a student to attend classes, take part in events, or appear for examinations if any outstanding fees or penalties remain unpaid.

All students must strictly comply with COMAST’s rules, regulations, disciplinary standards, code of conduct, and safety instructions at all times. Respect towards instructors, staff, fellow students, and the organisation itself is mandatory. Any form of misbehaviour, including but not limited to disrespect, violence outside of training, bullying, use of abusive language, damage to property, misuse of facilities, posting false or harmful content on social media regarding COMAST, or refusal to follow instructions, may result in disciplinary action, including warning, suspension, or permanent expulsion without any right to refund, appeal, or compensation.

COMAST places strong emphasis on discipline, punctuality, attendance, and proper presentation. Students are expected to arrive on time for all classes, wear the prescribed uniform correctly, maintain personal hygiene, and take full responsibility for their equipment and belongings. COMAST will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought onto the premises. Students who fail to maintain consistent attendance or who display repeated lack of commitment may be subject to review and possible removal from the programme.

Participation in martial arts and physical training carries a risk of injury. By enrolling in COMAST, the student and their parent or guardian fully acknowledge and accept these risks. COMAST, its trustees, instructors, staff, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be held responsible or liable for any injury, accident, illness, physical harm, disability, or in rare cases, death, that may occur during training, travel to and from the premises, participation in events, or involvement in any related activities, whether on-site or off-site. It is the responsibility of the student and parent or guardian to ensure that the student is medically fit to take part in physical training. Any existing medical condition, injury, or limitation must be disclosed prior to registration.

COMAST reserves the right to change training schedules, class timings, instructors, locations, rules, policies, and organisational structure when necessary for administrative, technical, or operational reasons. Such changes shall not entitle any student or parent to claim a refund, adjustment, or compensation. Temporary closures due to maintenance, public holidays, weather conditions, government orders, or unforeseen circumstances shall also not be grounds for any refund or financial claim.

Photography and videography may be conducted during classes, events, and activities for promotional, educational, and documentation purposes. By enrolling in COMAST, the student and parent or guardian grant full permission for the use of images and videos in which the student appears to be used on websites, posters, brochures, social media platforms, advertisements, and other promotional materials produced by COMAST, without any demand for compensation or prior approval.

These Terms and Conditions may be modified, updated, or amended at any time at the sole discretion of COMAST without prior notice. The latest version will be considered valid and binding upon all students and participants from the moment of publication or implementation. It is the responsibility of the student and their parent or guardian to remain informed of the current Terms and Conditions. Continued participation in any activity conducted by COMAST shall be considered as full and unconditional acceptance of any changes made.

By proceeding with registration and training under COMAST, the student and their parent or legal guardian confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms and Conditions set forth by Coimbatore Martial Arts and Sports Trust in their entirety and agree to be legally bound by them.
